About Melzi
The Melzi is yoyofriends Japanese player Tomoki Toyama's second signature yoyo. Compared to Da Vinci. Melzi utilizes a more aggressive wrapped around SS ring. More center cup weight and a wider catchzone. The result is a fast accelerating, high speed and high pace yoyo just like the Da Vinci. However due to the changes there are significant upgrade to power, stability and catchability. Satisfying Tomoki's high demand which is borderline physics defying.
Melzi’s shape and performance will remind people of da Vinci in terms of performance and shape.
The name of Melzi comes from Francesco Melzi who is one of the disciples of Leonardo da Vinci. So, people can understand easily to why his second signature yo-yo is named like this.
